Osaze Odemwengie makes donation to former club.

Nigeria soccer star and former Bendel Insurance FC player, Osaze Odemwengie, has donated N1million (£4,000) to the club. The money was presented on his behalf by Mr Austin Uwagboe, who said the donation was part of Osaze’s appreciation to the club that made him who he is today

Earlier in the month, Odemwingie had donated sets of jerseys and other training kits to the club. The sole administrator of the club, Austin Eguavoen, who received the donation commended Odemwingie for his contribution to the growth of the club. Eguavoen called on well-meaning Edo people and former Bendel Insurance players to emulate Odemwingie in coming to the assistance of the club.
