Boko Haram kidnap two Emirs.

Boko Haram has kidnapped two first class traditional rulers , the Emir of Gwoza, Idrisa Timta and the Emir of Uba, Ismaila Mamza in Borno state .

The Emirs were kidnapped around 10 .00 am this morning near Shaffa while they were travelling to Gombe to attend the funeral of the Emir of Gombe, Shehu Abubakar, who died on Tuesday evening at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London,

The Borno state government is yet to issue an official statement on the abduction.

UPDATE: Unconfirmed report and sources has said that the Emir of Gwoza died during the attack while the Emir of  Uba narrowly escaped death, even as report indicated that many entourages of the emirs' are still missing when the gunmen opened fire on their convey at about 8am.

It was gathered that the emirs were travelling in the same vehicle when the terrorists struck.

Dr Sid is unhappy with his fiancee's shopping habits.

The optometrist turned singer, Dr Sidney Esiri popularly known and addressed as Dr Sid, has lamented his fiancee's excessive love for shopping expensive clothings and luxurious jewellery. He expressed his uneasiness when both of them go shopping- as she will be pointing at every item that catches her fancy.

Two men claim paternity of quadruplets in Abia State.

A mild ‘baby daddy’ drama occurred a few days ago at the Abia State University Teaching Hospital (ABSUTH), Aba, as two men – Luke Ogbonna and Hon. Enyioko, a politician, claimed paternity of a set of quadruplet, all boys.

The two claimants were said to have had sexual relationships with Mrs. Nnenna Joy Ogbonna, mother of the quadruplet, at different times.

According to SunNews, Luke Ogbonna was the legitimate husband of Mrs. Nnenna and their ten year old marriage had been blessed with five children but due to his dwindling financial fortune Mrs. Ogbonna reportedly began to look elsewhere to make ends meet.

In the process, she allegedly found new love in Hon. Enyioko, a politician from Asa in Ukwa West Local Government. Not too long after, Mrs. Ogbonna became pregnant and the result of the scan test carried out on her indicated that she was carrying a quadruplet.

In an attempt to avert the looming trouble ahead, one of her friends was said to have advised her to
register for ante natal at a government hospital where she would be protected in case of any trouble and she gladly complied.

Footballer Taye Taiwo's Lagos home is revealed.

This is the Lagos home of Nigerian footballer Taye Taiwo who currently plays for Bursaspor F.C in Turkey. He bought over the property that was there before for about N30 million and then renovated it to suit his taste; extracting this and including that along the line. In fact, nearly all the things used were said to have been imported from France. A simple but sophisticated house, according to Yes Magazine, an estate valuer has put the current cost at over N100m. The house is in the Festac area of Lagos.

The house is enhanced with flowers, and a peep into the compound revealed some exotic automobiles like Chrysler, G-Wagon Benz and Range Rover neatly tucked inside a car port. 

His neighbours say of him...“The guy is not arrogant. Anytime he’s around, he mixes well with people. He also assists his siblings, because whenever he’s in town, you see them trooping in and coming out with smiles on their faces. Three of his blood relations, two guys and a girl, live in the house and also take care of it."

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West: A journey of love.

After marrying Kim Kardashian in a private ceremony in the presence of family and friends in Florence, Italy yesterday (May 24), Kanye West delivered a 15-minute speech about his love for her at their wedding reception – so sweet!

During his speech, he called the Kardashian family “The most remarkable people of our time” and made guests cry when he said “I want to spend every day of my life with Kim Kardashian”

We don’t have the full speech yet but E!online reports that his speech was very well received and got “huge cheers” from the guests. How adorable!

This is Kim's 3rd and Kanye's Ist marriage - they are both worth $140m with Kanye worth $100million.

Kim Kardashain: A journey.

Kim Kardashian is a very lucky woman. While some women are unable to find a man willing to walk them down the aisle, Kim is being walked down the aisle for the third time in her 33 years life!

Today is the big day for her third marriage to Kanye West and while we await pictures from the wedding carnival in Florence Italy, we take a look at her journey of marriage through the years.

Damon Thomas: Kim eloped with music producer Damon Thomas to Las Vegas in 2000 to get married at the age of 19. Not much is known about the actual wedding ceremony, but the marriage didn't last long and Damon filed for divorce in 2003. In papers filed in court, Kim alleged she suffered both physical and verbal abuse at the hands of Thomas.

She claimed he made her leave her job, refused to let her see friends and 'poisoned her mind' against her family. She said, 'I was young and went against my parents. Although they didn’t disown me, they were very upset with me! I stayed in the relationship to prove to others that I was going to make it work! That wasn’t for the right reasons.'

Kris Humphries : In 2011, after a whirlwind six months of dating, basketball player Kris Humphries proposed to Kim with a carefully choreographed 'Will You marry Me' spelled out in rose petals in her bedroom, along with a 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz $2 million diamond ring. The couple tied the knot in August 2011, in front front of 450 guests including a smattering of celebrities.

But it wasn't long before reports swirled hinting there was trouble in paradise, and Kim announced her split from Kris in October 2011 after just 72 days of marriage. In a statement to E! Kim said: 'After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. 'I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don't work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best.'

Kanye West: Third time charm, and along came Kanye! At first they were friends, and that friendship blossomed into a romance of international proportions. In true Kim tradition, the romance moved fast and Kim was soon pregnant with baby North with her rapper beau announcing the news from the stage in Atlantic City in December 2012 while Kim sat in the audience. Baby North West was born on June 15 at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles. And today 24th May 2014, they are getting married in a lavishly extravagant wedding in Florence, Italy.
