I'm gonna tell God everything: dying Syrian boy.

This is the picture of a three year old Syrian boy whose last sentence was 'I'm gonna tell God everything.'

Caught up in a useless and senseless war, this poor boy and other Syrians must have endured untold horrific experiences. And at the point of giving up the ghost, it has been reported that his last sentence was that he was going to tell God everything.

You can imagine a three year old, ravaged by hunger, ill-health, pains, seeing death, blood and wounded people everyday, seeing chaos, bombs dropping, suicide killings everything! And at the point his own life was ebbing away, he made it clear to whoever cared to listen, that he was going to tell it all to God!

This is haunting and heartbreaking and the perpetrators of the stupid war can be assured this little angel has taken his case to the supreme court, so they should await their judgement!

Meanwhile, little angel, continue to rest in the bosom of the Lord where they can never ever torture you again, and you will never have to endure what you endured in your short life on earth. Enjoy his peace, his love and his care for eternity.

Nollywood actor Joseph Benjamin covers the April/May 2014 issue, of RB – Reading Bridges Magazine and tells us some stuff about his life. In the issue, he talks about rumours, wedding bells and his music career.

On selecting the right roles: “For me I carefully select my movie roles and would not play a role that does not meet a certain criteria. In Ado Ekiti, a 57 year old vice principal of a school, Mr. Taiwo Ajayi, has been caught defiling a 12-year-old student of his school. Mr Ajayi allegedly committed the offence inside his office at Saint Mary’s Girls Grammar School, Ikole Ekiti.

According to the police, one of the staff had reported the matter to the police after suspecting the movement of the young girl (names withheld) inside the vice principal’s office.

The staff became apprehensive when the student, after spending a considerable time in the VP’s office, did not come out, and went to the door only to discover it was bolted from behind, she knocked and the movements, sounds and subsequent demeanour of both the suspect and the victim gave them away.

According to the police, investigation revealed that the suspect had a similar case in the past which was not reported and added that the victim also admitted that the suspect had carnal knowledge of her on his table.

The report of a medical examination confirmed that the victim’s hymen is not intact, Ajayi however, denies the allegation.

The police said with the evidence against him, he will soon be arraigned in court for defilement.

This is so sad. Super talented film maker and CEO of Amaka Igwe studios, Amake Igwe has died at the age of 51 years. She died in Enugu while preparing to shoot a film video. She is said to have suffered an asthma attack and died as she was being rushed to hospital. She was a recipient of several awards and had produced several award winning movies. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, three children and an aged mother.

A church of Beyism, that is the religion of the followers of Beyonce, has officially opened in Atlanta, Georgia.

The religion was created by a group of 12 friends in Atlanta, including Minister Diva Pauline John Andrews. They regularly gathered each Sunday to sing Beyonce’s songs, and decided to form Beyism while smoking marijuana one day.

“We are very disappointed in the failure of the public to recognize the existence of a divine Deity walking among them,” Andrews stated. “We ask that you consider what is more real: an invisible spirit on high, or a walking, talking, breathing Goddess who shows you her true form daily?”

Beyists argue that Beyonce was sent to Earth to spread love, peace and joy. They don’t believe that the pop star is the Creator, but argue that she sits among the “throne of Gods”.

The church has published its own version of the Bible, known as the Beyble, which will soon be available free to the public. The congregation also hopes to build a temple and further expand its reach outside the Atlanta area.

According to the church, Beyists exist throughout the United States, Canada and England.

Policeman kidnap 8 year old girl in Lagos.

Aggrieved youths, weekend, attempted to set a Mobile Policeman’s apartment on Olufowobi Street in Ikosi area of Ketu, Lagos ablaze following the discovery of an eight-year-old missing girl in his room.

The girl identified as Amarachi, who was unconscious, had her hands, legs and mouth tied. She also had a deep cut on her skull when she was rescued.

Vanguard gathered that Amarachi was last seen at about 4pm on Thursday, after going on an errand for the Mobile Policeman identified as Corporal Gbuchenge Augustine, with Force number 400823. The Policeman lives in the same compound with parents of the girl at 1, Olufowobi Street.

But apprehension set in after her father, Mr Patrick Abakwan, returned at about 7.30pm and requested to see his daughter.

Apparently somebody set up a twitter account posing as Peter Okoye's wife Lola Omotayo Okoye and have been sending tweets purportedly from Lola. Speaking at the Nigerian Entertainment Conference last week, Nollywood actress and singer Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde told the audience that people should count her out of those who hobnobbed with government either for business or for pleasure.

She said “Somebody on a blog a few days ago wrote that there are Nollywood personalities who are friends with politicians, sharing the national cake together. I, Omotola, have never campaigned or partied with any government, so don’t mention my name among those who do that. I have suffered enough for refusing to party with them and take ‘Ghana Must Go’ back home, so don’t let me suffer more.”

Nigerian Vice President loses brother.

The younger brother of the Nigerian Vice President, Captain Sambo, 60 died yesterday in an auto crash along airport road in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja on his way to catch a flight . One of the tyres punctured, spiralled out of control, hit a tree and the car went up in flames..

In his condolence message, President Goodluck Jonathan described the death as a very tragic one, coming at a time the country still needed the services of Captain Sambo.

He prayed that God would grant his soul eternal rest and asked the Vice President, the family, the government and people of Kaduna State to bear the loss with fortitude.

Sir Alex Ferguson is really upset at the way Manchester United handled the sack of David Moyes. Ferguson had hand-picked Moyes as his replacement at the end of his 26 year reign as manager at Old Trafford. He admitted it was wrong that the news leaked out before Moyes was officially told of his fate by United chief executive Edward Woodward.

Speaking at a charity lunch in Manchester on Thursday, Ferguson is quoted as saying : "It's upsetting the way it came out." Moyes learned of his imminent sacking when the story broke on Monday afternoon — 16 hours before he was officially informed by the club.

Ferguson is clearly regretting that he was responsible for luring Moyes to Old Trafford from Everton, where he had enjoyed 11 successful years before the disastrous 10 months at Manchester United.

President Obama's late aunt to be buried in Kenya.

President Barack Obama's aunt Zeituni Onyango, who died of breast cancer on 7th April 2014, is to be buried in Kenya. Her family wants her body flown home for burial.

Mama Sarah Obama made the wish after receiving the news of her daughter’s death. In life, Ms Onyango fought hard to avoid Kenya, saying her life would be in danger if she were forced to return to her homeland.

In death, her family now wants her body returned home for its final rest. She was fighting to obtain US citizenship at the time of her death in a rehabilitation centre where she was being nursed. She had only been granted a waiver of deportation, which also allowed her to work in the United States.

A 69-year-old man who claims to be legally married to late aunt Zeituni Onyango now wants to be allowed to bury her.

Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson seems to really like Nigerian guys. Maybe there are no hot guys capable of winning her heart in Ghana!

This is because the actress, who visits Nigeria frequently for movie shoots, seems to have developed a thing for actor Alex Ekubo after a love-gone-sour affair with singer Iyanya.

Yvonne, who was in bed and in the arms of Ekubo during a movie shoot in Nigeria, took to her Instagram page and wrote, “In bed…onset…with this hotttttie @alexxekubo. Why am I still single? #secondary virgin!"

Nigerian Singer, Harrysong has revealed a deep secret to the world: His mother and father are siblings.

Known now as Mr Songs, the “Beta Pikin” musician told Yes! Magazine, he’s an only child because his parents split after finding out they were related by blood.

“My father and mother are actually brother and sister. They gave birth to me before they could realize that,” he said.

It was a big abomination, so they had to separate. Even, they attempted to kill my father in that village but he fled, because in Warri where I come from, it is a taboo. They termed it incest.”

A Sharia court sentences HIV positive man to death by stoning.

In Kano State yesterday, an Upper Sharia court sentenced a 63-year-old HIV positive man to death by stoning, for raping and infecting a minor with the deadly virus.

Ubale Saidu Dotsa, was found guilty by the court following strong evidence tendered by the prosecution counsel. He has been standing trial for the last two months, for raping a 12-year-old girl (names withheld), and had confessed that he raped her at Dotsa village in Kumbotso, a suburb of Kano, after inducement.

Medical report tendered by the prosecution counsel indicated that the Primary 6 pupil has been infected with the deadly virus after the rape.

Ubale is said to be living with HIV for the past two years and had lost his first and second wives to the virus in 2011. The wives died in a six month interval.

Delivering the judgement, Khadi Faruq Ahmed further ordered that N36 million be paid as compensation to the parents of the girl if their daughter eventually dies.

Khadi Farouq also directed that the judgement should be forwarded to the Ministry of Justice which is expected to forward same to the Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso for assent.
