Nick Cannon claims things are not as bad as reported in the media.

Despite their messy break up, Nick Cannon has insisted that his relationship with Mariah Carey is very cordial. He said this in an interview on Good Morning America.

'We will always be a family. We're there for our children, making them the No. 1 priority and understanding they're loved and can have an amazing holiday.’

The couple who were married for six years, are parents to three-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, and were separated in October.

Last week it emerged that negotiations over property and custody of the twins was very fierce and that divorce proceedings has started to get ugly. At the center of their dispute is a reported $5 million jet, and luxury homes and cars.
