Prince William and Kate Middleton completed their three day visit to America by attending a glitzy gala dinner to raise money for their alma mater the St Andrews University in Scotland.
The Prince and his wife both earned degrees at the university and were the guests of honour at the lavish 600th anniversary event at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Dressed in a midnight blue evening gown and with her hair swept up in an elegant style, the pregnant Duchess teamed the gown with black heels, and long diamond and emerald earrings, which were a private gift.The Duke looked dashing as ever in a black suit and bow tie.
The couple mingled with the other 450 guests who had paid between $2,500 and $10,000 to attend the dinner. Last night, the royal couple, boarded a flight to UK, where they will be reunited with Prince George.
