Details of Joan Rivers will revealed.


The details of the will of comedian Joan Rivers has been revealed. The late entertainer was worth an estimated $150 million which she left to her family and several charities.

According to Joan's will, her daughter Melissa will be executor of the will and was receive all of the tangible assets of her mother including houses, cars, clothes, jewellry etc.

Joan's grandson (Melissa's son) Cooper, niece Caroline Waxler and nephew Andrew Waxler were given unspecified amounts of money in a blind trust.

She also left money for the following charities - California's Guide Dogs for the Blind, the Jewish Guild for the Blind in Manhattan, the Jewish Home and Hospital Federation of Manhattan, the Simon Wiesenthal Center and The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

She also left some money to her publicist Scott Currie and her assistants Sabrina Lott Miller and Jocelyn Pickett.

Joan passed away on Sept. 4 after suffering from cardiac arrest during a routine throat operation on Aug. 28. She was 81.

The late comedian has been nominated for 'The Best Spoken Word Performance' for the audiobook of her recent memoir, Diary of a Mad Diva. Her daughter Melissa thrilled about the nomination tweeted "I am beyond excited for my mother! @theGRAMMYS Best Spoken Word nominee @Joan_Rivers."
