263 days of heavy rainfall expected in Lagos State.


Lagos State has announced that it is expecting 263 days of rainfall this year. It is also expected that the rains will be heavy and accompanied by strong winds, lightening and thunderstorms. The rainstorms will mainly be in the coastal areas of the state and is expected to cause huge devastations to residents. The State Commissioner for the Environment, Mr Tunji Bello announced this at a presentation. Last year, the state announced rainfall of between 249 and 275 days.

**263 days represent 72% of the year! This is hoping Governor Fashola will provide measures to protect his people against the expected devastations. Eko o ni baje o!
