South African President implicated in damning report.

The South African President Jacob Zuma has been implicated in a report released just six weeks to the elections in allegations of benefiting unduly from a $23 million (£14 million) state funded security upgrade to his private home that includes a swimming pool, a cattle enclosure and amphitheatre.

The South African anti - corruption watch dog has accused him of conduct inconsistent with his office and insists he should repay a reasonable part of the cost of the unnecessary renovations.

This allegations are likely to damage the image of the already plagued Zuma and his African National Congress party in the forthcoming elections.

***African leaders are all the same, from South Africa to Mali to Libya to Nigeria! While the people they govern can barely feed, clothe or shelter themselves, these people plunder our resources with impunity.

But surely judgement must come one day!
