Nigeria's Minister of Petroleum Resources receives Forbes award.

The recipient with Mr. Christopher Kip Forbes, Vice Chairman Forbes Media LLC in New York.

Mrs Diezani Alison-Madueke, Nigeria's Minister of Petroleum Resources has received a 'Best of Africa Award in Leadership' by Forbes magazine in New York.

Mrs Alison-Madueke was ecstatic about the award and dedicated it to all women across the globe especially Nigerian women. She said the award will spur her to be more dedicated to ongoing reforms in the Petroleum industry.

She also commended the Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan for appointing several women into leadership positions. Many attendees at the award paid glowing accolades to the recipient branding her a trail blazer.
