Grandmother's last wish granted as she is reunited with her horse.

A dying grandmother's last wish was granted by hospital staff when her favourite horse was brought to her hospital bedside.

The 77-year-old grandmother-of-four Sheila Marsh was given one last chance to see her horse and was clearly delighted as horse Bronwen gently nuzzled her face just a few short hours before she died of cancer.

The hospital moved her bed outside to see her beloved horse and it was an emotional scene as her daughter Tina and all the nurses cried as horse and woman spent time together.

According to Tina, her mother had six horses, three dogs, three cats and other animals but Bronwen was her favourite.

"She took comfort out of it and it was a beautiful moment. She loved her horses and she loved and adored all animals. Her condition did not get any better and the hospital allowed us to bring Bronwen in.'' Tina said.
