Blessing Okagbare is getting married.

African queen of the tracks, Blessing  Okagbare, is getting married.  The star sprinter is  having her traditional marriage today in Sapele, Delta State, and the white wedding will hold on Saturday at  St. Patrick's Catholic Church also in Sapele.

Her husband to be is a three-time capped Super Eagles’ player, Igho Otegheri.

Speaking with The Guardian yesterday, Okagbare said that tying the marital knot would not affect her plans for the Rio 2016 Olympics and other athletics events.

“Getting married won’t in any way stop me from doing the usual things on the track,” Okagbare said. “I have been looking forward to this moment and by the Grace of God, we will celebrate it with everything. But one thing I want to assure my fans and all Nigerians is that I will continue to work hard to put smiles on their faces as long as my body allows me to run and jump on the track.”

She won both the 100m and 200m gold medals for Nigeria at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Congrats Blessing, wishing you a happy married life.
