Alicia Keys has explained in an interview with Wendy Williams how she gets on well with her husband's ex wife Mashonda Tifrere for the sake of their kids.
Swizz Beats was married to Mashonda in 2004 and they have 3 kids, however in 2009 while they were having issues in their marriage, Swizz started dating Alicia.
Mashonda in 2009 accused the singer of not giving them the space to work on their troubled marriage. Eventually Swizz divorced her in 2010 and married Alicia in the same year.

While promoting her new children’s book, Blue Moon: From the Journals of Mama Mae and LeeLee, Alicia Keys talked about a lot of things, including the arrival of her second child which is due at the end of December.
She also talked about how she is getting on very well with Mashonda and how it is all about creating a positive environment for all of their children.
