The National Freedom Party Youth Movement (NFPYM) of South Africa have expressed their anger on Oscar Pistorius sentencing yesterday.
The Secretary General Maria Busi Tshabalala said in a statement. 'We all know that Pistorius shed crocodile tears each time he had a chance to do so, when he knew exactly that he murdered an innocent woman who had a bright future ahead of her because of his insecurities, as far as we are concerned, Oscar deserved life imprisonment.'
Pistorius was sentenced to five years in prison after being found guilty of culpable homicide. For discharging a firearm at Tasha's restaurant in January 2013, he was sentenced to three years in jail, suspended for five years. The sentences would run concurrently.
