Malala Yousafzai donates $50,000 to rebuild Gaza schools.

Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai has donated $50,000 to help rebuild U.N. schools damaged during the recent conflict in Gaza.

The Pakistani teenager announced she would be giving away the money, which is the winnings from her World's Children's Prize, while receiving the award in Stockholm, Sweden.

"Innocent Palestinian children have suffered terribly and for too long," she said. "We must all work to ensure Palestinian boys and girls, and all children everywhere, receive a quality education in a safe environment. Because without education, there will never be peace."
