China sends Ebola relief materials to seven African countries.

The Chinese government has named seven African countries to benefit from Ebola relief materials.

The countries include Nigeria, Mali, Ghana, Benin, Guinea-Bissau, Cote D'Ivoire and Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce said in Hong Kong that it has sent a new round of relief materials to the seven countries to help prevent the spread of Ebola. The materials include protective clothing, protective goggles, sprayers and temperature monitors.

The materials are expected to reach the capital cities of the benefiting countries before the end of October.

The Chinese government had in April and August provided emergency humanitarian relief worth 5.57 million dollars to the affected countries. Also in September, it provided relief worth 40 million dollars.
It has also been announced that China would give another 82 million dollars in aid to Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea and international organisations to fight Ebola.
