AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi has admitted that former striker Mario Balotelli was never wanted at the club labeling him a 'rotten apple'.
The 24 year-old striker was sold to Liverpool for £16million this summer .
Balotelli, who scored 15 goals for AC Milan last season, was sold by the Italian club due to the problems he got involved in off and on the pitch. He had signed a four and a half years contract in January 2013, but after one and a half years, they sold him off.
Milan boss Filippo Inzaghi also admitted that he didn’t want the striker at the club and sent him his best wishes in August when he departed.
Berlusconi said his team is better off without the 'rotten apple.' 'I remember he was bought against my advice, we have many champions, the base is there. And we no longer have a rotten apple in the dressing room.'

It is his fault, he is rude and very indisciplined, no one can control him.
