The grand finale of the 2014 Miss South Africa event held on Sunday at the Sun City Superbowl in Johannesburg with the emergence of Miss Rolene Strauss as the new Miss South Africa 2014.
Rolene beat eleven other finalists to win the crown. She received a prize package worth R1.3milliion (£74,000) and will represent South Africa in the Miss World and Miss Universe pageants later in the year.
