Kelly Rowland delivers baby boy.

Former Destiny's Child member, Kelly Rowland has welcomed a baby boy with husband Tim Witherspoon.

The baby was born at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday 4th November, weighing 7.5lbs. He has been named Titan Jewell Witherspoon.

"We are thrilled to announce that today we are the proud parents of our first son," Rowland said in a statement. "We are blessed to report everyone is healthy and happy!"

Tennis stars Serena Williams and Caroline Wozniacki  attended a basketball game between the Washington Wizards and the New York Knicks at Madison Square Gardens in New York.

Serena, 33, was dressed in a plunging white blouse and a patterned mini skirt and black heels, while Caroline, 24, was dressed in an orange mini shift dress and Louboutin heels.

Both athletes showed off their toned legs as they sat courtside enjoying the game and some popcorn.
At a point, both had to scamper for safety as the basketball came flying at them.

Serena is ranked No 1 in the world while Caroline is ranked 9th. The pair have remained good friends and always show support for each other.

The Prosecution applies for leave to appeal Oscar Pistorius conviction and sentence.

In South Africa, the State has applied for leave to appeal against Oscar Pistorius' conviction and sentence. The implication is that there may be a re-trial and a possible harsher sentencing.

Oscar Pistorius was found guilty of culpable homicide in the killing of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp and given a five years jail term.

It is understood that the prosecution team were unhappy with both the conviction and sentence as they wanted him convicted for premeditated murder and given a higher prison sentence. As a result, they have filed for leave to appeal the judgement.
