Chris Hemsworth is named Sexiest Man Alive.

People Magazine has named Hollywood actor, Chris Hemsworth as the 2014 sexiest man alive. The 31 year old Australian has had a soaring career in the past few years getting lead roles in several films including Thor.

The announcement was made on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday night, and the actor took part in a Skype video call to officially accept the title.

He said 'Thank you, I'm most excited about the alive portion of that statement, and the sexy part is a bonus.' He was given a golden mirror trophy.
