The Nigerian government have reportedly agreed to a cease-fire wit Boko Haram and are negotiating for the release of the 219 abducted Chibok girls.
Boko Haram’s Secretary General, Danladi Ahmadu told the Voice of America about the cease-fire agreement.
The Nigerian Chief of Defense Staff Alex Badeh, is said to have issued a directive today, urging all service chiefs to comply with the agreement.
The Chibok girls are said to be in good condition and unharmed after being kidnapped six months ago.
